Fresenius Kabi Puerto Rico

PASH is currently developing and installing a ground-mounted Solar PV Project for Fresenius Kabi Puerto Rico. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of medical instruments; particularly machines for the treatment of chronic kidney conditions. PASH and Fresenius Kabi have signed a formal Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to execute this project. PASH will be fully responsible for the technical design, the procurement of all equipment for the plant, as well as the installation activities for the project. PASH will undertake O&M activities of the PV plant following commissioning and operations.

The installed solar capacity will be 997kWp, with the scope to potentially double this based on the available land at the site. The PV plant will use innovative technical solutions never used in Puerto Rico before to ensure a seamless installation. This includes an air-conditioned 20-foot totalizing container to house the inverters and wiring in one location. The project provides compelling benefits to Fresenius Kabi by lowering the cost of electricity currently being paid to PREPA / LUMA and demonstrating the company’s leadership within the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) global agenda.
