• John Butt is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Conduit Ventures Limited, an impact-driven venture and growth capital fund centred on Energy Decarbonization, Hydrogen, Water risks/Food Security and digital solutions. He has overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the Conduit Ventures funds backed by 30 years of experience in investments and banking. Prior to CVL, he worked at Citigroup Global Markets Price Waterhouse International Privatization Group, and Bank of England based in the UK, North America, EU, and Central and Eastern Europe. He has a degree in biochemistry from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. John is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
• Mr Nersan Naidoo is the founding partner of MidSquare a digital asset focused venture. He has over 2 decades of executive leadership and transformative growth in his previous role as CEO of Sanlam Investments one of South Africa’s largest sustainability-driven asset management companies and as Chairman of the Board at Climate Fund Managers Climate Fund Managers, a leading climate-centric blended finance fund manager. He has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an organisational leadership postgraduate from the University of Oxford and is a CFA Charter-Holder.
• Yemisi Oni is a Chief Legal Counsel for African Development Bank Group one of the premier organisations mobilizing resources for the continent’s economic and social development. Yemisi is based in Abidjan and brings over 20 years of experience in project finance and equity and debt markets. Yemisi previously worked in private practice as a project finance lawyer at Mayer Brown and before that at Linklaters and begun her career at Goldman Sachs. Yemisi holds an LLB from the University of Kent and an LLM from the University of Warwick.
• Giacomo Rossi is a Co-Founder & Partner at Vesper Infrastructure Partners, focused on investing in, and partnering with, mid-market companies and asset owners in sustainable infrastructure and decarbonisation sectors in European and OECD markets.
Giac brings almost two decades of experience in the international energy and infrastructure markets as an investor, operator, adviser and board member.
He was previously CEO for Snam S.p.A’s activities in the UK, Ireland and North Sea – focusing on Hydrogen, CCUS and low carbon energy generation & storage investments and operations; Managing Director in BP’s EMEA Power Trading Team focused on equity investments and power off-takes and deliveries; and worked as a VP at Carlyle’s flagship international energy fund (Carlyle International Energy Partners Fund I and II). Prior to this, Giac was an investment banker at Rothschild & Co. and Perella Weinberg Partners in London. Giac has degree in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics. Giac has degree in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics.
• Keith Sparks has extensive experience in the development, structuring, financing, management and negotiation of complex energy infrastructure businesses. In addition, he has substantial M&A and venture capital experience. As a private investor, Mr. Sparks specialized in and focused on businesses that have predictable, long-term cash flows and downside protections. He has provided advice and seminar presentations to renewable energy professionals and governmental personnel on infrastructure development, community outreach, privatization and finance.
Many of the transactions initiated or led by Keith were first of their kind development projects or financings that continue to outperform traditional market metrics despite the absence of local regulatory or legal precedent and the presence of historically antagonistic or negligent stakeholders. Notable transactions include developing the first independent power project (IPP) in sub-Saharan Africa (Nigeria, 2001) and the largest integrated wind project in the Western Hemisphere (New Mexico, 2021).
Prior to a career in energy, Keith served as Assistant Athletic Director at Stanford University liaising with the undergraduate admissions office and working with elite athletes, coaches and administrators engaged at the highest level of collegiate and professional sports. He currently holds advisory roles in two distinct industry sectors; athletics and renewable energy. Working with a startup professional basketball league designed to disrupt and transform college basketball, and a host of global renewable energy industry companies, executives and government officials in the energy space. Keith received his AB degree Human Biology from Stanford University in 1984, a JD degree from the University of Texas in 1987 and is based in Lisbon.
• Alan Wyatt serves as a Non-Executive Director at PASH Global, bringing an extensive corporate background and over three decades of investment and trading expertise within the energy and commodities sectors. His career has been distinguished by leadership roles at state and blue-chip corporations overseeing multi-million-dollar investments and asset management.
Mr. Wyatt has accumulated a wealth of leadership experience at the highest echelons of the energy and commodities trading landscape. Most notably, he held the position of Senior Manager responsible for Trading and Marketing of Oil, Gas Liquids and Products at Sonangol, the Angolan State Oil Company for 10 years. Prior to that, Mr. Wyatt served as VP Global Origination at Louis Dreyfus, contributing his strategic insights to build the company’s global portfolio. Mr Wyatt held two senior M& A roles in Gas & Power during the liberalisation of the European energy sector. As Director of Business Development at Centrica and SVP Trading & Development at TXU Energy Mr Wyatt shaped and implemented corporate growth strategies including leading major acquisitions in the power sector. Earlier milestones in Mr. Wyatt’s career include ten years as Managing Director of the Finnish State owned Neste Gas after an early career as a liquid gas shipper and trader.
Alan Wyatt’s extensive corporate background and profound industry knowledge position him as a valuable asset to the board of directors at PASH Global, where his strategic insights and leadership experience contribute to the company’s success in the energy space.
